Adam’s Special Birthday Treat

Apr 11, 2019 | 6:15 AM

Almost a month after his 40th birthday on March 18th, Adam Levine is still celebrating.

The Maroon 5 star and his pals took to the court after the Los Angeles Lakers ended their season Tuesday with a home defeat at the hands of the Portland Trail Blazers,

And the game wasn’t a last minute thing – the JumboTron above the court kept track of the pick-up game between Team Adam and The Other Team.

“This might be the most entertained I’ve been at a Lakers game in a while,” Los Angeles Times reporter Arash Markazi wrote alongside a clip of Adam in action on Twitter.

Dave McMenamin, a reporter for ESPN, was on hand, writing alongside a photo of the game: “Perfectly appropriate cap to a truly bizarre day in Laker Land? Adam Levine celebrating his 40th birthday with an 11 p.m. pickup game on the Staples Center court.”

Levine is a huge Lakers fan and is often spotted courtside with his wife, model Behati Prinsloo.

Not only did the Lakers lose their game 101-104, but Magic Johnson also announced his abrupt departure as team president Tuesday. No word on whether Adam’s team won.
