MATT DAMON GRABS DINNER WITH BEN AFFLECK’S EX: Ahead of his Saturday Night Live hosting gig, the Oscar-winning Matt Damon grabbed dinner with his BFF Ben Affleck‘s ex, Lindsay Shookus. The 38-year-old serves as producer on SNL (which is where she and Affleck reportedly met). The 48-year-old Damon will host the Christmas episode this week, with Miley Cyrus set to perform. Shookus and Affeck broke up after a year together in August, shortly before he entered rehab for the third time.

UPSTATE JUDGE QUITS AFTER MAKING HOMOPHOBIC REMARKS: A judge named John M. Hallett in Jefferson County, New York has resigned after reportedly making homophobic remarks when speaking to an attorney tasked with promoting a film festival honoring Viggo Mortenson. “You and Viggo Mortensen should get a hotel room and suck each other’s d***s,” Hallett told the attorney, according to the complaint.

KYLIE JENNER EXPANDS EMPIRE: From lips to lashes! Kylie Jenner has filed to register a trademark for KYLASH, according to The Blast. She plans to make mascara, artificial lashes, tints and eyelash serums.

FAN HITS STEVE CARELL WITH A CAR: Steve Carell had a brush with death recently when a fan accidentally hit him on his bike with her car. The 56-year-old made the revelation on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I was riding, pretty fast road. I made a turn, and I didn’t see the car behind me, and they hit me from behind. So I went up over the handlebars.” He was shocked after getting hit, and so was the fan. “The woman who was driving the car jumped out,” Carell said. “She was distraught obviously, and I went over to her, and my bike was sort of stuck under the front of her car, and she’s saying, ‘Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! It’s Steve Carell!’” He joked:”She was so excited that she hit me. It was really kind of a fun experience, a fun fan encounter.”

JON GOSSELIN TALKS KIDS: Speaking at the “Real Love: Relationship Reality TV’s Past, Present & Future” event in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Jon Gosselin revealed that he is only on speaking terms with two of his 14-year-old sextuplets, Hannah and Collin. He doesn’t speak with his 18-year-old twins either, he revealed. “The other four aren’t talking to me, but they’re talking to Hannah,” he said (via People). “It’s what the kids want to do. If they don’t want to talk to me, that’s fine, as long as they keep up their sibling connections.” He won legal and physical custody of Collin in November, and Hannah lives with him as well. (Collin is currently in treatment for reported mental challenges). Kate Gosselin has custody of the other kids.

BOB SAGET TALKS OLSEN TWINS: Still tight. Bob Saget has known Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen since they were babies, and he says they’re still close. The 62-year-old told Us Weekly that they still chat on the regular. “I love them and I do feel related,” he told Us exclusively when asked if he feels paternal instincts toward the twins. “I am very close emotionally with Ashley and Mary-Kate. Ashley just texted me they can’t make it tonight – they’re working – but they donated some wonderful items from The Row. They’re always incredibly generous and I’ll see them in L.A. We make a point of seeing each other at least once or twice a year.”

JOSH HENDERSON ARRESTED: The Arrangement and Desperate Housewives alum Josh Henderson was arrested in L.A. on Tuesday for suspected burglary, according to multiple reports. The 37-year-old was reported by a neighbor for stealing $7,000 worth of jewelry from their home. He reportedly posted $50,000 bail and is free. Sources close to the star are claiming it’s a case of mistaken identity. He is due in court on January 3^rd.
