NICK JONAS AND BRITNEY SPEARS LAUNCH NEW FRAGRANCES: Nick Jonas and Britney Spears have both launched new fragrances this week. Nick has debuted his first cologne with designer John Varvatos, while Britney has released her 24th fragrance called Prerogative. Nick’s cologne, John Varvatos x Nick Jonas JVxNJ Fragrance, is available exclusively on Nordstrom.com. The singer says the scent is “classy with a bold edge.” “We are keeping it really authentic – something in my life I can wear at an event suited up or also feel confident and sexy in it if I am just in jeans and a t-shirt,” he says. “That balance kind of the everyday man approach while still having a lot of character is a really special thing.” Britney says her new unisex perfume is all about confidence too. “The fragrance is really good, but the name is very cool because it’s empowering,” she says. “It’s [about saying], ‘I’m going to what I want to do and be happy in that moment and not worry about what people think.’” Britney’s scent will be available at Walmart this month, and at Kohl’s starting next month.

LOUIS TOMLINSON RETURNING TO ‘THE X FACTOR UK’ AS A JUDGE: Louis Tomlinson is heading back to The X Factor U.K., this time as a judge. The singer, who was discovered on the show along with his One Direction bandmates back in 2010, has been tapped to join the judges’ panel for the show’s upcoming 15th Season. Louis’ 1D bandmate Niall Horan tweeted his congratulations over the news, writing, “Absolutely delighted for ya @Louis_Tomlinson . Going back home to @TheXFactor but as a judge this Time . Huge news!!” Also joining The X Factor U.K. judges’ panel this season are Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field, as well as Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.

LIGHTS’ GRAPHIC COMIC SERIES ‘SKIN&EARTH’ TO BE ADAPTED FOR TELEVISION & DIGITAL CONTENT: Singer-songwriter Lights’ graphic comic series Skin&Earth is hitting the small screen. The first six issues of the post-apocalyptic series, which serves as a companion piece to Lights’ 2017 album of the same name, will be adapted for television and digital and gaming content. Lights will also be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con this Friday and Saturday. Lights is an award-winning musician, with three gold albums and a fan base of more than 2 million followers across social media. Skin&Earth is the artist’s fourth studio album and marks her second consecutive Juno Award win for Pop Album of the Year.
