MEGHAN TRAINOR WANTS TO ACT IN MOVIES SOME DAY: Meghan Trainor doesn’t just want to be on movie soundtracks, she wants to be in movies. The singer, whose song “Me Too” is featured in I Feel Pretty, tells The Hollywood Reporter that her goal is to one day star in films similar to the Amy Schumer comedy. “But I just want to do some cameos first,” she says. “That’s how you start. You get a little second here and then a few seconds there and then you get to be the lead.” For now, though, Meghan says she’s excited that her song is featured in I Feel Pretty. “I’ve been a huge fan of Amy Schumer since her early stand-up, and I always knew she was going to blow up but I just didn’t know when,” she says. “So, this is a dream come true to be here. This is a huge bucket list thing for me.” Meghan’s fianc is Daryl Sabara, who starred in the Spy Kids films.

THE CHAINSMOKERS HEADLINING KAABOO CAYMAN FESTIVAL IN 2019: The Chainsmokers will be headlining the new KAABOO festival on Grand Cayman Island next year. The duo will take the stage for the first KAABOO Cayman festival, which will take place February 15-16, 2019. It’s a spin-off of the original KAABOO, which takes place September 14-16 in Del Mar, California. The 15 acts joining The Chainsmokers on the bill include Zedd, Flo Rida, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Jason Derulo, Maren Morris, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams and more. The festival will also feature art, comedy and food. The website describes it as “a curated two-day sound voyage that combines incredible music and tastemaking experiences in a modern wonderland alongside the beautiful Caribbean sea.”

KELLY CLARKSON AND ED SHEERAN PARTICIPATING IN NBC’S ‘RED NOSE DAY SPECIAL’: Kelly Clarkson and Ed Sheeran are set to participate in this year’s fourth annual The Red Nose Day Special. The star-studded charity event helps raise awareness and money for children in need all around the world. The one-hour NBC special will feature Kelly visiting a local elementary school to meet students raising money for Red Nose Day. Kelly will also appear in a comedy sketch during the telecast. Ed, who’s long supported the charity event in both the U.S. and U.K., will help bring awareness to issues facing homeless children around the world and highlight ways your donations can help. Other celebrities participating including Kristen Bell, Jack Black, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Zooey Deschanel, Tony Hale, Sean Hayes, Marlon Wayans, Sasheer Zamata, and Jack McBrayer. The Red Nose Day Special airs May 24th. It will be hosted by Chris Hardwick and broadcast live from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
