THIRD INSTALLATION OF SISTERHOOD COMING? On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Alexis Bledel let slip that she and her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants cohorts-Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn-have pitched a third installation of the popular franchise. MICHELLE PFEIFFER SIGNS ON FOR MALEFICENT SEQUEL: It’s on! Michelle Pfeiffer is joining Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning in Disney‘s Maleficent sequel. Pfeiffer will play a queen. Ed Skrein is also joining. The 2014 original grossed $758 million worldwide.

PAUL JUNGER WITT DIES AT 77: The iconic TV producer Paul Junger Witt has died at age 77. Witt died after a struggle with cancer. He is best known for his work on The Partridge Family, Soap and Golden Girls, but also produced several films, including Dead Poets Society, Three Kings and Insomnia. He is survived by his wife TV writer Susan Harris, with whom he shares five children: Christopher, Anthony, Genevieve, Oliver and Sam.

TEMPLE RESCINDS BILL COSBY’S DEGREE: Temple University has rescinded Bill Cosby‘s honorary doctorate in 1991. The disgraced comedian has had more than 20 colleges and universities revoke his honorary degrees after being accused of sexual assault. He was convicted of three counts of sexual assault against Andrea Constand on Thursday. He is still awaiting sentencing. Constand was one of more than 50 women who claimed he drugged and assaulted them, but only her case could be tried in court due to statute of limitations laws. “In 1991, based on his career achievements, Temple awarded an honorary degree to William Cosby. Yesterday, Dr. Cosby was found guilty by a jury of the felony of aggravated sexual assault. Today the Temple University Board of Trustees has accepted the recommendation of the University to rescind the honorary degree,” a statement released by Temple read. At least three others, including Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame and Carnegie Mellon followed suit. Wesleyan has asked the board to do the same.
