Kamloops streets slick Wednesday morning- snowfall warning continues

KAMLOOPS — As you head out to work this morning, be aware that a number of streets are slick this morning.

Not only in the higher elevations, where you might expect the roads to be slippery, but on the valley bottom as well.

Some streets on the North Shore, including parts of Fortune Drive, and in particular, First Avenue, were very slick earlier this morning,

Crews have been out sanding, but some of the melt has glazed over, so allow yourself extra time to get to work.

The snowfall warning is still in effect for the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt.
