KAMLOOPS — Kamloops and the surrounding area could see the some snowflakes make an appearance this week, but there is no guarantee the white stuff will be staying long.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Cindy Yu says there is a slight chance for flurries tonight (Dec. 9), but its more likely we’ll see some snow later into the week.

“As far as tonight goes, there is a frontal system moving through but we’re not really expecting a whole lot out of this current system.”

Yu says there is another system coming through Monday night, into Tuesday, which will likely bring a few centimetres of snow.
