Kamloops’ Olsen rink wins first game at Travellers Club national curling championship

KAMLOOPS — At the Travellers Club Curling championship in New Brunswick the Lori Olsen rink from the McArthur Island Curling Club in Kamloops overcame deficits of 4-1 and 5-4 and on two in the extra end gave B.C. a 9-7 win over Northern Ontario in the opening draw.

The Travellers Championship is for club teams that have never played in a Canadian juniors, Scotties or seniors in the last four years.
