UPDATE: Senior couple missing near McLure found safe

BARRIERE, B.C. — Update: Police say the missing senior couple have been found and have returned home safe and sound.

Police in Barriere are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing senior couple.

In a news release, Barriere RCMP say they received a missing persons report for two elderly overdue travellers from the Lower Mainland.

Donna Johnston and Timothy Hall are both 63 years old and are believed to be travelling in a 1991 brown Ford F250 with B.C. licence plate BF9750.

Johnston is described as a white woman, 5’3″, 121 lbs., with brown eyes and bleached blonde hair. Hall is described as a white man, 5’11”, 245 lbs., with hazel eyes and grey hair.

The couple was last physically seen at their Coquitlam address on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 5:00 p.m. Their cell phone GPS location was last associated to the McLure area at roughly 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 14.

Anyone who has seen the vehicle or has information on where Johnston and Hall may be are asked to call Barriere RCMP at (250) 672-9918.
