VICTORIA —   Federal Environment Minister Catherine McKenna is set to meet with Indigenous leaders on Vancouver Island today to discuss enhancing the role of First Nations in conservation.

McKenna has previously pledged to increase the role of Indigenous Peoples in protecting the environment and she’s set to make an announcement after the roundtable today in Sidney.
