KAMLOOPS — Dozens of people will be in the Kamloops Law Courts today to determine who will be selected as part of the jury overseeing a murder case.

Stephen Fraser is charged with murder in connection to the 2017 slaying of Cody Foster in February of 2017, in an RV park in the Dallas neighbourhood.

Fraser was 56 years old when he was arrested at the scene and charged with second degree murder.

After the jury is selected for the Supreme Court trial, a voir dire hearing will take place this week. This hearing is essentially a trial within a trial, to determine which evidence should and can be used during trial.
