Fire crews deal with out of control campfire along Schubert Drive

KAMLOOPS — Looks like a campfire got a little out of control by the river this morning.
Fire crews were called to the end of Schubert Drive leading into Westsyde just before 4:30 this morning.
The area had to be accessed by the bush trucks and water tender because of the terrain, but the fire was put out very quickly.
The area is commonly used as a spot for shelter.
