Kamloops RCMP investigating violent assault in Brock

KAMLOOPS — There was a heavy police presence on Glenview Avenue in Kamloops Saturday following an assault that police say appears to be targeted.

Kamloops RCMP were called around 10:30 a.m. for a man receiving medical attention following an attack earlier in the day. The assault had taken place at 2535 Glenview Ave. 

The man had serious, but non-life threatening wounds.

Police believe the victim and suspects knew each other. 

RCMP continue to gather evidence, asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact police at (250)-828-3000.
