Woman walks away with minor injuries after being struck by pickup on North Shore

KAMLOOPS — A woman suffered minor injuries after being struck by a pickup on Kamloops’ North Shore early Tuesday afternoon.

Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says it happened just after 12:00 noon when a woman was crossing at Tranquille and 11th Street.

“The woman was walking along Tranquille and 11th  when a vehicle pulled out of an auto collision shop and struck her.”

Shelkie says the woman was taken to hospital for observation but is expected to be okay.
