KAMLOOPS — Police are hoping technology will help nab the suspects responsible for Thursday night's shooting in the west end.

Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Nestor Baird says RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have video survillance or dash camera video footage that captured any part of Summit Drive between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday.

The plea comes after 34-year-old Red Scorpions Co-Founder Koonam Shirzad was gunned down and and killed outside a residence on Hudson's Bay Trail just after 7 p.m.

A 28 year old man also suffered non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot.

Those with surveillance video are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.

Anyone with other information regarding the incident are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8277.
