Frankenjax for kids and Kidsport

KAMLOOPS — It used to be that kids would be out playing until well after dark, if they could get away with it.

Now, as many parents can attest, screen time can take up far too much of their children’s time.

But there’s one Kamloops Dad who’s trying his best to get his kids, as well as others, interest away from their devices, and out onto the pavement with the Frankenjax road hockey tournament.

Jayson Bruno is the organizer of the Frankenjax, and was inspired by the road hockey competition at Hockey Day in Canada in Kamloops in 2016.
