Senator Green Raine to return to work after cancer treatment

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Cancer treatment for Senator Nancy Greene Raine is going well.
Greene Raine had her thyroid removed in April, and has been undergoing follow-up treatment at the BC Cancer Agency clinic in Kelowna.
According to Sun Peaks Resort, Greene Raine is expected to return to Ottawa in early June for two weeks of Senate duties.
She is also expected to participate in the community’s Canada Day festivities.
