Close call as semi-truck crushes highway barrier

KAMLOOPS — A close call unfolded this morning on Highway 97 near Monte Lake as a semi-truck rammed a highway barrier.
The driver was lucky to walk away uninjured, as large drop-off was beyond the barrier.
The highway remained open to single lane alternating traffic during the clean-up.
No word on what may have caused the collision.
