Heap the Honda campaign wraps up

KAMLOOPS — It kicked off in early January, the 8th annual ‘Heap the Honda.’

The event is a local book drive organized by Literacy in Kamloops to help keep their bright red bookshelves stocked throughout the year.

This year’s campaign wrapped up this past weekend, and since then an army of volunteers has been hard at work.

They’ve been cleaning, sorting, and organizing the donated books getting them ready to be handed out and enjoyed by hundreds of children in our community.
