Suspect sought in North Kamloops convenience store robbery

KAMLOOPS — Police would like your help tracking down a man who robbed a North Shore convenience store at knifepoint this morning.

At about 6:30 a.m., two men entered the Mac’s Convenience Store in the 200 block of Tranquille Road.

One of them brandished a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk.

Once they had the cash and cigarettes, they took off in a 2010 black Kia sedan.

Police say the car had been stolen from the south shore the previous evening, and may be bearing the license number 923 XPH.

The suspect is described as:

  • Race: Caucasian
  • Age: Approximately 30 years old
  • Hair: Brown beard with no mustache
  • Height: 5’10
  • Wearing: Green horizontal striped hoodie, Camo bandana, Black cap
