Average of 4.73 million watch Game 3 of American League Division Series

TORONTO — An average of 4.73 million viewers watched Sunday’s pivotal Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers.

Rogers Sportsnet, the official broadcaster of the series in Canada, announced the figures on Tuesday night.

Toronto’s climactic 7-6 10th inning win to sweep the best-of-five series with Texas became Sportsnet’s most-watched program of 2016 and third most-watched broadcast of all time.

More than 10 million viewers watched some part of Sunday’s Game 3 broadcast.
