BBQ fires up students for another year at TRU

KAMLOOPS — Thompson Rivers University held its welcome back barbecue today.

President Alan Shaver says there is a lot of excitement on campus.

“This is beginning of term and everyone is excited. The faculty members are as excited as the students, this is what we are here for, the students, and they are back,” said Shaver.

Today’s festivities included live entertainment and displays from community groups and campus clubs.
