Missing senior located by Shuswap SAR

UPDATED: The missing man has been located. 


SALMON ARM, B.C. The Salmon Arm RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating, Calvin Erickson, 75 years old of Salmon Arm.

Family members reported Calvin Erickson missing from his residence, to the Salmon Arm RCMP on Thursday March 24, at around 6:00 pm. Calvin Erickson was last in the Hillcrest area, at approximately 3:30 pm, Thursday March 24th 2016. An extensive ground and air search effort has been underway in efforts to locate Mr Erickson.

Calvin Erickson is described as:

  • Caucasian male,
  • 6,3 190cm
  • 215 lbs, 92kgs
  • grey hair
  • Possibly wearing glasses
  • Blue jeans
  • Black shoes
  • Difficulty walking and walks with a distinctive shuffle

Police and family are concerned for Calvin Erickson's well being and believe he may be in need of medication and possibly medical attention.
