KAMLOOPS — Patsy Cline’s recording career was brief; she died in 1963, at the age of just 30, when her manager’s private plane crashed.

She was the first woman to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973, and Rolling Stone magazine ranked her 46th on their 100 Best Singers of All Time list.

Now, Western Canada Theatre’s newest production will tell her story. From her meteoric rise to fame, to her time on the cast of the Grande Ole Opry. A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline opens on February 25th.
