Man accused in 100 Mile House murder makes court appearance

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The man charged in last week’s homicide in 100 Mile House made a brief court appearance yesterday.

46-year-old Michael Martel is charged with First Degree Murder in the killing of 37-year-old Vesna Dumstrey-Soos, who was found dead in a 100 Mile home on January 4.

Martel was arrested a short time later, and remains in custody.

His next court appearance is scheduled to take place in Williams Lake on February 10.
