Kamloops pot dispensary robbed at gunpoint

Kamloops RCMP confirming that the Canadian Safe Cannabis Society was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the male suspect entered the store in the 400 block of Tranquille Road shortly after 4:30 demanding cash and marijuana products.

RCMP Corporal Cheryl Bush says he was armed with what looked like a sawed off shotgun, and made off with both money and pot.

No one was injured in the incident but RCMP Serious Crime Unit is investigating.
