One woman dead after crash on Highway 5 north of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash on the Yellowhead Highway north of Kamloops.

In a news release, BC Highway Patrol says the collision on Highway 5 between Vinsulla and McLure was reported at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 8).

The woman who was driving, the lone occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Highway Patrol says more information will be provided once the roadway reopens.
