Rivers FC picks up a pair of draws against Altitude FC in North Vancouver

KAMLOOPS — Rivers FC’s men’s and women’s squads each earned a point in North Vancouver over the weekend.
The women kicked off their match on the road against Altitude FC Saturday (May 11) afternoon. Taylor Miller scored 14 minutes in to give Rivers FC a 1-0 lead for most of the match until Altitude responded with the equalizer in the 86th minute.
Later in the afternoon, the men hung on to a 0-0 draw against Altitude FC after a red card was issued against Svyatik Artemenko in the 86th minute.
The women improve zero wins, zero losses and three draws, good for three points in three matches. They sit fifth overall in the League1 BC table.
