Storm swept in second round playoff series, fall to Grizzlies in game four 3-2
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm’s season is over.
The Storm fell to the Revelstoke Grizzlies 3-2 in game four of their second round Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) playoff series Tuesday (March 12) night from McArthur Park Arena. The Storm were swept in the best-of-seven series 4-0.
The Storm fell behind the eight-ball by surrendering the game’s first three goals. Evan Clark got the Storm on the board near the halfway mark of the second period and Sam Zulyniak scored to give Kamloops eight minutes to try and get the tying goal, but it was not meant to be Tuesday night.
The Grizzlies advance to the Okanagan-Shuswap Conference Finals and await the winner of the series between the North Okanagan Knights and the Princeton Posse.
