KAMLOOPS — One person was arrested after a notable police presence on the North Shore Thursday (Feb. 29) morning.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson, confirmed to CFJC Today officers responded to Eighth Street and Lethbridge Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. for a report involving a weapon.
“Police attended and they located the suspect and were able to quickly and safely take them into custody,” Evelyn says. “At this point, the investigation is ongoing.”
