Season comes to an end for WolfPack women’s team

VANCOUVER – The WolfPack women’s volleyball team fell 3-0 to the UBC Thunderbird last night (Feb. 24) in Canada West quarter-final action. The result ended the 2023-24 season for the squad, who fought until the last point.

Playing the final game of her WolfPack career, Ema Palkovicova led the team with 10 kills in the match, while also putting up six digs and a pair of blocks. Brooklyn Olfert added four kills and Kate Lamothe added three.

After making the playoffs just once in the program’s first ten years at the Canada West level, TRU has now qualified five times since the 2015-16 campaign.
