No decision made on leaving North Thompson: B.C. Highway Patrol
KAMLOOPS — B.C. Highway Patrol (BCHP) says it has no concrete plans to leave the North Thompson.
Clearwater Mayor Merlin Blackwell and Barriere Mayor Ward Stamer have both been made aware of centralization plans for the highway division of B.C. RCMP.
That may include relocating Clearwater-based BCHP officers to Kamloops.
In an email to CFJC Today, BCHP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Moore says no decisions on relocating officers have been made.
