Kamloops Storm go 1-and-1 on the weekend, remain second in Doug Birks Division

KAMLOOPS — In the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the Kamloops Storm won one and lost one on the weekend.

At McArthur Island Saturday (Nov. 18), the Storm edged the Eddie Mountain Division-leading Columbia Valley Rockies 2-1 in overtime, with Sam Lewis getting the overtime winner.

Travelling to Sicamous Sunday, the Storm dropped a 2-1 decision to the Eagles.

Kamloops has a sparkling 14-5-0 record on the season, sitting second in the Doug Birks Division, seven points behind Sicamous.
