KAMLOOPS — For the first time in three years, Thompson Rivers University is honouring a group of distinguished alumni.
While the Distinguished Alumni Awards began as an annual tradition in 1995, the program was put on a pandemic pause in 2020.
This year’s crop of honourees includes Northwest Territories premier Caroline Cochrane, who graduated from University College of the Cariboo in 1998 with a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
The other honourees are Tk’emlups councillor Joshua Gottfriedson, Amplify Consulting founder Aleece Laird, respiratory therapist Kuljit Minhas and accomplished athlete Greg Stewart.
