THERE COULD NOT BE A MORE STARK CONTRAST in public figures than the two we have seen venerated in different circles this week.
On one hand, there is the American pundit Charlie Kirk, felled by an assassin’s bullet one year ago this week.
Kirk was outspoken and bombastic. He thrived on getting people to disagree with him. He was known for tearing down his political enemies and that’s how he gained his following.
He never held elected office.
