Storm beat Okanagan rivals at McArthur Island

KAMLOOPS — It was a great night for the Kamloops Storm when they hosted the Kelowna Chiefs on Saturday (Sept. 30).

The Storms got off to a fast start, scoring five goals in the first period of the game. Kamloops outshot Kelowna 38-23 on the night, winning the game 8-3.

Teghan Mullin, Ty Horner, Ryan Larsen, Evan Douglas, Hudson Clarke, Nolan MacPherson, Brendan Green and Colton Phillips-Watts scored one goal each.

The team will now head to Chase, where they face the Heat on Tuesday (Oct. 3) night.
