Witnesses sought after violent robbery at McArthur Island Monday: RCMP
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking into a frightening robbery on McArthur Island earlier this week.
According to Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, the incident took place at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 25). A woman told police she was walking on a pathway near Norkam Secondary when a man approached her from behind, assaulted her and took her wallet and phone.
Suspect descriptions:
- Man in his 40s
- Woman in her late 30s with long blond hair
- Both were wearing baggy pants and medical masks
- Both were riding small bicycles
