TRU men’s soccer shutout by red hot Thunderbirds

KAMLOOPS — Just 24 hours after a tough 1-0 loss at home, The TRU Wolfpack men’s soccer team were unsuccessful at achieving their first win of the season, losing to the UBC Thunderbirds 4-0 at Hillside Stadium Saturday (September 2).

Four different players got on the scoresheet for the T-birds. Brennan Fuerst, Luke Norman, Eric Kim and Sebastian Dzikowski all found the back of the net to give UBC their fourth consecutive win to start the Canada West season.

Wolfpack keeper Olivier Jumeau was strong throughout the match, making five saves as a result.

Next up, the Wolfpack will hit the road to Prince George to take on the UNBC Timberwolves on September 8.
