CRD names Murray Dale new CAO

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The Cariboo Regional District has chosen its new Chief Administrative Officer.

Murray Dale will move into the role as of May 15, 2023.

Originally from the southern part of Vancouver Island, Dale was appointed CAO in the Village of Clinton in 2020.

“From living as far south as one can in BC to working and seeing its most northern regions, our family has grown to very much love the Cariboo,” Dale said in a news release. “My wife and I are thrilled that the next phase of my career will allow us to remain in this area and our children are looking forward to exploring all the many clubs and recreational opportunities that Williams Lake and the surrounding area has to offer.”

Dale succeeds John MacLean, who left for the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District last November.
