TRU releasing findings of investigation into improper conduct allegations Tuesday afternoon
KAMLOOPS — Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is set to release information on its board of governors’ independent investigation into allegations of discrimination and harassment against a current and former senior administrator early Tuesday (Jan. 17) afternoon.
In a news release, TRU says Board Chair Marilyn McLean, Chancellor Nathan Matthew, and President and Vice-Chancellor Brett Fairbairn will release information after anonymous complaints of discrimination and harassment were made in February 2021 against Vice-President of Finance and Administration Matt Milovick and Vice-President of People and Culture Larry Phillips.
Phillips has since left the university while Milovick has continued in his role.
In an earlier update, the school said investigators had interviewed a “comprehensive list” of people over an 11-month period.
