Zellweger, Hofer lead Kamloops past their old teammates in Everett
EVERETT W.A — In their first game back in Everett on Friday night, Olen Zellweger and Ryan Hofer burned their old team with a goal a piece in a 6-3 Blazers victory.
Jackson Berezowski got the scoring going for the Silvertips just over two minutes into the contest on the powerplay. But, less than a minute later Matthew Seminoff would score unassisted to tie the game at 1-1.
Kamloops would keep coming and just 56 seconds later, Zellweger would net his second as a Blazer. Before the midway mark of the first period, Hofer would score is first for Kamloops to make it a 3-1 contest. Ashton Ferster would add one more before the first intermission. 4-1 Blazers.
