Drivers without winter tires encouraged to stay home: City of Kamloops
UPDATE (7:15 a.m.): The City of Kamloops says all roads impacted by last night’s snowy conditions are now open.
In a social media post, the City says main roads, along with bus and school routes have been addressed. Now, city crews are now working on roadways in higher elevated neighbourhoods.
The City says Kamloops drivers who don’t have winter tires should consider staying home.
However, anyone who drives today is asked to give themselves extra time and extra space between themselves the cars in front of them.
