WATCH: Newly-released Jurassic World trailer showcases Kamloops shooting locations

KAMLOOPS — Remember when Hollywood star Chris Pratt professed his love for Kamloops to tens of millions of fans on Instagram?

Pratt posted the social media message in February, 2020, while he was in the area filming the latest instalment in the Jurassic World movie franchise.

Thursday (Feb. 10), an official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion was released, and it clearly shows the natural beauty Pratt appreciated in his social media post.

The wintery Kamloops landscape will be obvious to locals — even though stampeding dinosaurs are rarely seen in 2022.
