Residents of 17 properties near Lytton allowed back home

LYTTON, B.C. — While the Lytton Creek wildfire is prompting evacuation orders on its leading edge — including for the community of Spences Bridge — residents on the other end are being sent back home.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has rescinded its evacuation order for 17 properties in the Gladwin Mobile Home Park/Jade Springs area near Lytton.

The following properties are affected:

  • 1144 to 1820 Trans Can Hwy; and
  • any other properties located within the boundary denoted on this map:
