Evacuation Order

Two more properties on evacuation order due to Sparks Lake wildfire

KAMLOOPS — An evacuation order was issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) Emergency Operations Centre in Kamloops Wednesday (July 21) afternoon.

The order was issued to two more properties due to the Sparks Lake wildfire. It’s threatening structures and residents in the Copper Desert Country, Lower North Thompson, and Rivers and Peaks areas.

Properties affected include:

• 4010 Jamieson-Spruce Grove FSR
• 4360 Jamieson-Spruce Grove FSR
• any other properties as identified on the attached map
  (Thompson-Nicola Regional District).

If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately. Emergency Support Services will only be provided if your primary residence is one of the properties under evacuation order.
