Less than one million COVID-19 vaccines expected this week in Canada
OTTAWA – Only about 600-thousand doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine are set to arrive in Canada this week.
The two pharmaceutical firms shipped 1.4-million doses ahead of schedule last week in anticipation of the May long weekend.
Other vaccine makers have struggled to keep their shipments flowing.
The federal government is not expecting any more doses of the Moderna vaccine before the end of this month.
