Kamloops recorded 44 COVID-19 cases last week – less than half of the week before

KAMLOOPS — There are encouraging signs for Kamloops in the most recent COVID-19 data provided by the B.C. Centre for Disease Control.

The map reporting case counts by community for the week of April 11 to 17 shows 44 cases in Kamloops during that period, less than half of the total of 96 from the week previous.

Though Kelowna continues to see the highest rate of spread in the Thompson-Okanagan region, that city’s numbers were down as well, from 288 to 242.
