B.C. hits second straight daily record with 589 new COVID-19 cases, 24 in Interior Health
VICTORIA — The transmission of COVID-19 in B.C. has hit an eye-popping new high.
According to a news release from Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, the daily case count hit 589 in B.C. Friday (Nov. 6). That includes 24 new cases within Interior Health.
This is a new daily record, far above the record 425 cases recorded Thursday.
The 589 new cases bring the provincial total to 17,149 since the COVID-19 pandemic began, spread through the province as follows:
