No new COVID-19 cases in Interior Health; 105 more throughout B.C.

VICTORIA — Provincial health officials are reporting 105 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday (Sept. 29) — but no new cases within Interior Health.

The new cases bring B.C.’s total to 9,013, distributed through the province as follows:

• 3,286 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 60)
• 4,594 — Fraser Health (up by 39)
• 206 — Island Health (unchanged)
• 531 — Interior Health (unchanged)
• 309 — Northern Health (up by 6)
• 87 — Reside outside of Canada

The number of active cases has decreased, at 1,268 as of Tuesday. Sixty-nine of those people are in hospital including 20 in intensive care.
