B.C. records 96 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, sees huge decrease in active cases
VICTORIA — Provincial health officials are reporting a drop in active COVID-19 cases by more than 500.
In new numbers released Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 22), Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says there are 1,465 active cases in B.C. That is down by 522 from Monday’s total of 1,987.
The news release does not explain what conditions led to the precipitous drop.
Interior Health reports 31 active cases within the region.
